Alera Group is looking for a Office Administrator. We are seeking highly motivated colleagues who bring experience and enthusiasm to our team joining us may be the perfect fit for you! Alera Group was founded in 2017 and has grown to become the 15th largest broker of US business. We are passionate about our clients success in the areas of Employee Benefits, Property and Casualty Insurance, Retirement Plan Services, and Wealth Services. With a network of offices nationwide, our commitment to collaboration allows us to offer national resources combined with local service. Responsibilities
Maintain a clean, organized, and functional office environment, including daily kitchen and office tidying.
Manage office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships to ensure smooth operations.
Coordinate meetings and events: schedule, order meals, set up/clean up spaces, and manage telecommute space bookings.
Handle all incoming/outgoing mail and packages across office locations.
Provide administrative support to the leadership team, including calendar management, travel arrangements, and document preparation.
Maintain filing systems, assist with data entry, and handle confidential information with discretion.
Answer phones, manage building access (key fobs), and serve as liaison for cleaning, IT, and building services.
Qualifications
Proven experience in office administration or support roles (Administrator, Office Manager, or Administrative Assistant).
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with a willingness to further develop skills.
Strong organizational, time management, and task prioritization abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Proactive problem-solver with discretion in handling confidential information.
Additional Information
This job is expected to be performed on-site in the office (Boston,MA). Alera Group offers comprehensive benefits to our colleagues, including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, 401k, generous paid time off and much more.
