The Enterprise Cloud & Connectivity organization is looking for an experienced leader to elevate our enterprise networking capabilities. What You’ll Be Doing As a leader in Lilly’s Digital Core and a member of the Enterprise Cloud & Connectivity Lead Team, you will be responsible for providing secure, global network connectivity. You will collaborate with infrastructure and business teams to understand their needs, influence future direction with modern technology and automation, develop technical talent, and lead your organization in innovative, reliable, and efficient solutions. How You’ll Succeed Lead global delivery of LAN, WLAN, WAN, Cloud networking, and Data Center Facilities networking. Manage network security operations, including firewalls and monitoring, partnering with cybersecurity teams. Establish and maintain excellent service management practices. Develop and manage team capabilities, anticipate staffing needs, and foster technical talent. Determine sourcing strategies, establish requirements, and lead vendor governance. Build strong IT and cross-company relationships, translating needs into strategies. Ensure compliance with IT quality and standards. Deliver projects on time, within budget, and with expected outcomes. Meet financial targets, optimize spending, and ensure effective service delivery. Set and align with a 3-5 year strategic vision for enterprise networking. Stay current with technological advancements, promote innovation, and incorporate new solutions. Participate in establishing architecture principles. What You Should Bring Proven experience in setting strategic direction for enterprise technologies and services. Experience leading global organizations with internal and external resources. Extensive experience in advancing service management capabilities. Strong crisis and incident management skills. Leadership in deploying new technology solutions. Recognition as a thought leader in IT and business contexts. Excellent influence and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively. Expertise across complex landscapes, including business, technology, and regulatory environments. Experience with process improvement tools and techniques. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently, take initiative, and self-manage. Your Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 10+ years leading enterprise IT solutions and operational support for critical services, including infrastructure, networking, communication, collaboration, and deskside support. 5+ years managing external partners for service delivery, requirements, contracts, and governance. Additional Information Occasional domestic and international travel required. Position based in Indianapolis, Indiana, with a hybrid work model. For internal candidates, other US locations may be considered.
