These positions are located in the Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Office of the Chief Information Officer, in Washington, D.C. These are non-bargaining unit positions. Duties Implement higher-level security requirements such as those relating from laws, regulations, and presidential directives. Integrate security programs across disciplines. Develop long-range plans for IT security systems that anticipate, identify, evaluate, mitigate, and minimize risks associated with IT systems vulnerabilities. Resolve integration issues related to the implementation of new systems with the existing infrastructure. Review proposed new systems, networks, and network software designs for potential security risks. Requirements Conditions of employment You must be a U.S. citizen to apply for this position. Demonstrate IT-related experience with the following competencies: Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, Problem Solving. Specialized Experience For GS-14 level, one year of specialized experience at GS-13 performing duties such as applying IT security developments, applying project management principles, leading implementation activities, and assessing system design methodologies. Qualification must be met by the closing date and verified. Additional Information This is a position at the full performance level.
