You are responsible for managing financial projects, deliverables and staff within the Statutory Reporting area of finance. You are a leader within the area, and act as mentor to others on the team. Financial Reporting:

Oversees/reviews the preparation of financial statements, footnotes and supplemental disclosures on a Statutory basis. Ensures technical compliance with accounting guidance and other regulations. Prepares complex standard and non-standard, periodic reports and analysis. Continuously seeks new methods of analyzing and reporting on financial or management information. Works closely with other areas to understand financial results or operational trends. Works independently to resolve complex inquiries, requests or issues.

Internal Control Environment:

Excellent understanding of the importance of internal controls to a top-tier financial team with meticulous adherence to the controls in place. Excellent understanding of internal controls in place relevant to the team including overall process documentation and testing as well as performing the control. Recommends improvements to controls or need for future controls.

Projects:

Acts as the lead on key projects. Identifies problems and develops creative solutions. Manages multiple tasks related to the project, establishes clear roles and responsibilities and keeps to a deadline. Collaborates with other departments to solve complex issues and complete strategic directives.

Leadership and communication:

Manages and serves as a role model, coach, and mentor to the team; helps to influence team member's career development. Demonstrates resilience and composure under stress. Strong understanding of mission and vision of team, division and company and has the ability to help meet those goals and objectives. Is recognized as a "go-to" resource for team and division. Operates with a sense of urgency. Meets deadlines. High level of motivation. Takes ownership for ensuring that the teams/divisions work is performed with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness.

What you bring:

4+ years experience required Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required Solid understanding of Statutory accounting guidance as well as internal controls Excellent organizational, decision-making, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal and technical skills Proven ability to work independently under minimal supervision You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require immigration sponsorship for visa status now or in the future (e.g. H1-B, L-1, TN, etc). If you are currently on CPT/OPT, you are ineligible due to the need for future immigration sponsorship.

Base Salary Range $99,000-148,000

Actual base salary may vary based upon factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, internal equity of peers, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual incentive program.
