Friday Job Summary: Aalis Management Consulting seeks an experienced
Senior Systems Analyst
to evaluate, optimize, and modernize enterprise-level systems supporting military personnel readiness, health affairs, and workforce management. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in
systems analysis, requirements engineering, and process improvement
within DoD environments, with a focus on translating operational needs into technical solutions. Key Responsibilities: Conducta comprehensive systems analysisof DoD personnel and readiness systems (e.g.,DEERS, MHS Genesis, HR systems) to identify gaps and improvement opportunities. Developdetailed requirements documentation, including CONOPS, functional specifications, and system interface definitions. Leadbusiness process reengineeringefforts to align systems with DoD readiness objectives andDoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF)standards. Performcost-benefit analysisandtrade studiesfor system modernization initiatives. Coordinate withcross-functional teams(engineers, data scientists, cybersecurity specialists) to ensure solutions meet operational requirements. Supportsystem accreditationby ensuring compliance withRMF, NIST SP 800-series, and DISA STIGs. Develop and presenttechnical briefingsto senior leadership (SES/Flag Officer level). Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s or a Master’sinComputer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. 8+ yearsofsystems analysis experience, with at least5 years in DoD/federal environments. Proven track record inrequirements analysis, process mapping, and solution design. Experience withEnterprise Architecture tools(e.g.,Sparx EA, IBM Rational). Strong knowledge ofsystems engineering lifecycleandMBSE principles. Proficiency inrequirements management tools(DOORS, JIRA, or similar). Understanding ofdata integrationandAPI architectures.
