Global Restaurant Network Transformation
team, focusing on delivering a resilient and secure global network infrastructure. Reporting to the Sr. Network Manager, the Network Engineer will monitor network performance, resolve issues, and implement security measures to protect organizational data and systems. The Network Engineer III will design, implement, maintain, and optimize our critical network infrastructure, requiring advanced troubleshooting skills and project leadership to ensure stability, security, and performance across all locations. Key Responsibilities: Network Design & Architecture: Lead the design and deployment of scalable, resilient, and secure network solutions, including LAN, WAN, WLAN. Maintain network diagrams, configurations, and procedures. Assess new technologies and recommend solutions aligning with business goals. Implementation & Deployment: Manage network changes, upgrades, and migrations with minimal disruption. Troubleshoot network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, access points) from vendors like Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto. Lead infrastructure projects from start to finish. Network Operations & Troubleshooting: Provide expert troubleshooting for complex incidents, acting as an escalation point. Monitor network performance, security, and availability using management tools. Proactively identify and resolve potential issues. Security & Compliance: Enforce security policies, firewall rules, VPN, access controls. Collaborate with security teams to address vulnerabilities. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Performance Optimization: Analyze traffic and performance data to identify bottlenecks. Implement QoS policies for critical applications. Optimize configurations for efficiency and throughput. Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain network documentation and troubleshooting guides. Participate in on-call rotations. Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors on hardware procurement, issues, and services. Skills & Experience: Senior-level network engineering experience with complex enterprise networks. Expertise with Juniper equipment, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and network security (VPN, IPS/IDS, NAC). Experience with wireless solutions (Juniper, Cisco Meraki, Aruba). Familiarity with network monitoring tools and cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP). Scripting skills (Python, Ansible) are a plus. Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in relevant fields or equivalent experience. Certifications (Preferred): Cisco CCNP, CCIE, security certifications like Palo Alto PCNSE, Fortinet NSE, ITIL Foundation.
