Insight Global is seeking a
Simulation Software Senior Architect
to provide simulation and modeling development in support of a new Satellite Program based out of El Segundo, CA. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team at the forefront of satellite innovation, where your contributions will directly impact mission-critical systems in a fast-moving, high-stakes environment. This role supports both software-only and hardware-in-the-loop simulation environments, offering flexibility for development and testing across various mission scenarios. Ideal candidates will have strong programming skills in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, or Python, and be capable of building simulation software as well as developing interface layers that connect to physical hardware components. The position bridges virtual modeling with real-world systems, enabling comprehensive validation and integration workflows. Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Engineering Technology), Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, or Computer Science from an accredited institution. Active Top Secret clearance Experience with satellites, launch systems, orbiters and/or ground control systems. Understanding of DoDAF or TOGAF or similar. Familiarity with Agile methodologies. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
