Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Review and understand engineering drawings to create detailed job routers documenting manufacturing processes for quality production and inspection.
  • Interpret specifications and translate them into actionable tasks for manufacturing personnel.
  • Calculate material usage requirements for new jobs.
  • Develop engineering drawings for tooling, external supplier processes, or manufacturing fixtures as needed.
  • Assist manufacturing employees in resolving process and product issues, making adjustments to job routers as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to process Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) submitted by manufacturing personnel.
  • This position will be more of a shop floor/process improvement/CNC programmer position than a pure desk position.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience working with/programming CNC machines (Mill/Lathe).
  • Strong attention to detail and technical acumen.
  • Excellent critical thinking, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Preferred Skills:
  • Background in manufacturing processes and job routers.
  • Experience in the aerospace industry preferred.
  • Familiarity with CNC programming.
  • Knowledge of drawing standards, including geometric tolerances.
  • Experience using an ERP System.
Education:
  • A Bachelors Degree in Manufacturing Engineering is preferred but not required
