Job Responsibilities
The Integration Engineer Support role provides design, implementation, and maintenance support of systems integrations to court Judiciacy stakeholders.
• Design, develop, and implement system integration solutions across diverse platforms, services, and data sources
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams to define integration strategies that align with enterprise architecture standards
• Develop and maintain APIs, middleware, and message-oriented solutions (e.g., REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, MQ, Kafka)
• Conduct integration testing, troubleshoot complex issues, and resolve system conflicts across platforms
• Support data mapping, transformation, and orchestration of workflows between systems
• Ensure integration solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements including performance, scalability, and security
• Document integration processes, interfaces, and system dependencies to support sustainment and knowledge transfer
• Support modernization and cloud migration efforts by enabling interoperability between legacy and cloud-native systems
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives
• Ensure integration activities comply with applicable federal standards, including FISMA, FedRAMP, and Zero Trust principles where applicable
Requirement Skills/Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in systems integration, software engineering, or middleware development
• Hands-on experience with integration tools and platforms such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Azure Integration Services, AWS Step Functions, or Apache Camel
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, or PowerShell)
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, web services, and data exchange formats (JSON, XML)
• Experience integrating COTS, GOTS, and custom applications in cloud and hybrid environments
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps toolchains (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Ansible, Terraform)
• Knowledge of identity and access integration (e.g., SSO, SAML, OAuth2) is a plus
• Experience working in federal environments or with government systems preferred
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred
