Pay Rate: $18/hour (W2)

This role is critical in ensuring efficient and professional patient interactions, from registration through check-out, while maintaining accuracy in insurance verification and payment processing.

This role is critical in ensuring efficient and professional patient interactions, from registration through check-out, while maintaining accuracy in insurance verification and payment processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist patients, visitors, and guests with professionalism and courtesy
- Complete patient registration, check-in, and check-out procedures accurately
- Verify insurance coverage and eligibility; obtain pre-authorizations as required
- Collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances via cash or credit card
- Maintain accurate patient information and documentation in the system
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage daily patient flow
- Respond to inquiries and resolve patient concerns or escalate as appropriate
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all confidentiality policies
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk environment
- Minimum 3-4 years' experience in a medical front office or patient access role
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (verbal and written)
- Strong background in customer service and cashiering
- Experience with credit card handling and 10-key by touch
- Familiarity with front office operations and health insurance verification
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience with EPIC or other EMR systems is a plus
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
