As constituent services have become more interconnected so too have the IT systems that support those providers. Many of these systems were initially designed to address specific problems and were not developed to interoperate with one another.

As our newIDXRSenior Product Manager you will champion solutions intended to increase interoperability and scalability by linking people/identities between these critical systems.You will exercise both strategic and tactical leadership as you develop a product roadmap and execution plan. This will require working collaboratively across teams, navigating complex processes, and understanding current systems and future needs. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential to success in this role, as you will be guiding teams and partners towards a shared vision.

Some of the day to day opportunities include:

Coordinating complex product initiatives across internal teams and stakeholders to prioritize roadmap features, and spearheading the definition of new capabilities through product and business requirements documents. Managing third-party vendor relationships, contracts and associated budgets.

Tracking program risks, helping to drive mitigations, and representing product status to the broader leadership team.

Driving prioritization based on business and customer needs, working closely with key stakeholders to achieve shared objectives.

Prioritizing product features and enhancements based on impact, resource availability, and alignment with strategic objectives.

Reviewing product performance against key metrics to measure success and drive prioritization of roadmap.

Continuously analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product strategies and identify opportunities for innovation.

Collaborating with agency partners and divisions to inform holistic identity resolution solutions to support risk-sensitive projects/solutions.

Working as an adaptive problem solver, filling in gaps across roles and functions as needed.

A wide salary range is posted for this position and any job offer is based upon a salary analysis to comply with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. The salary analysis considers relevant experience, education, certifications, and state seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work. While all offers are compliant with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, there is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis.

This is a skills-based job announcement. The required minimum qualifications and/or education (if substituting for the proven experience, knowledge, and skills), are as follows:

Minimum Qualifications:

A minimum of five (5) years of dedicated experience in software product management, with a track record of delivering results. Experience with Healthcare Information and/or Identity Management systems (especially Identity Resolution, referential matching). Substitutions:

Additional appropriate education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis, but cannot completely substitute for these qualifications. Training or Certification related to the work assigned to the position will be assigned credit towards substitution for experience and/or education, but cannot completely substitute for these qualifications. If the minimum qualifications include a degree requirement, additional appropriate paid or unpaid experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

Preferred Qualifications:

Implementing digital government solutions experience. Experience with Identity Matching and Mapping solutions. State government or local government experience implementing technology products. Agile product development experience. Experience with APIs as a product.

Conditions of Employment:

OIT employees must comply with any screening procedures in place at state entity locations where they might be required to perform work. A pre-employment background check will be conducted as part of the selection process. Positions supporting some agencies such as the Department of Corrections and the Department of Public Safety will also require a pre-employment drug test. This position may require travel within the specified geographic area, and to locations across the state as needed. If this posting indicates “remote from anywhere in CO” in the title, periodic reporting to the primary state work location designated for the position is required. All remote work must be performed in Colorado.

While candidates from out of state will be considered for this role, the candidate selected for the position must relocate and reside in Colorado on the first day of their new position. A reasonable timeframe for relocation will be established on an individual basis, while considering business needs, and determining a start date.
