Centennial Technologies is seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Business Development to lead our expansion efforts across federal health agencies, with a strong emphasis on the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and broader Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) landscape. This role will shape and drive growth initiatives, identify high-value opportunities, and build trusted relationships within the public health mission space.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute a business development strategy focused on civilian health agencies, particularly CMS and key HHS Operating Divisions. Identify, qualify, and prioritize new business opportunities aligned with Centennial’s offerings in IT modernization, digital transformation, data analytics, and AI/ML. Cultivate strong relationships with federal program offices, acquisition officials, and decision-makers within Medicare, Medicaid, and HHS sub-agencies. Manage the end-to-end capture process for priority pursuits—from account planning and solutioning to teaming and price-to-win strategies. Collaborate with proposal managers and technical leads to develop tailored responses that address agency-specific challenges and mission needs. Lead pipeline development and ensure timely progression of opportunities within systems like CMS SPARC, CIO-SP3, and other IDIQ/GWAC vehicles. Track federal health trends, procurement forecasts, and priorities to inform internal growth planning. Represent Centennial at Industry events and strategic partner engagements, elevating our visibility across the health IT ecosystem. Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in federal business development, with at least 5 years focused on civilian health or public sector health IT, ideally with a successful track record supporting CMS or HHS. Strong understanding of federal health programs including Medicare, Medicaid, CMMI, Center for Program Integrity, or other operating divisions such as NIH, SAMHSA, or HRSA. Demonstrated experience winning work through contract vehicles like CMS SPARC, GSA MAS, CIO-SP3, or Alliant 2. Deep familiarity with federal acquisition processes and stakeholder engagement in health-focused agencies. Proven ability to lead capture efforts and shape winning proposals in collaboration with delivery and solution teams. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree or PMP preferred. Security Clearance: Applicants selected must be eligible to work in the United States, be subject to a government security investigation, and meet eligibility requirements for clearance.
