General Manager

is responsible for developing leadership talent, running a profitable business, and executing strategic initiatives to deliver an exceptional customer experience and surpass financial goals. Success is driven through optimizing customer engagement, talent development, and productivity, while maintaining brand integrity. The role acts as the link between the brand vision and its execution in-store. Direct responsibility for sales and profit performance, ensuring sales & margin goals are met. Own strategic planning and execution of company initiatives, optimizing impact for your store location. Create a consistent customer experience aligned with RL brand expectations by inspiring your store team. Shape a client development strategy and lead community outreach efforts in your market. Set talent strategy for your store, building and developing a team focused on the customer and your vision. Source, recruit, and retain high-performing talent through feedback and coaching. Educate and train team members to build skills and capabilities. Maintain productivity standards through effective process management, including inventory and shrink goals. Champion the use of new technology to support sales techniques and enhance shopping experiences. Uphold all company policies and procedures. Provide feedback to cross-functional partners, identifying high-profit potential and trends. Ensure store standards exceed expectations at all times. Create an inclusive environment aligned with Ralph Lauren's core values and cultural focus areas. Qualifications include a college degree or equivalent (preferred), retail management experience in a high-volume or high-profile environment, strong communication skills, physical ability to work on the sales floor, and flexibility to work various shifts and travel as needed.
