Lab Technician/Assistant (Cosmetics Packaging)

A contract manufacturing and formulation company in the Corona, California area is seeking an experienced Lab Technician with a background in packaging or cosmetics. This full-time, in-office role is essential to supporting the development and quality assurance of innovative packaging solutions within the beauty industry. Responsibilities: Conduct physical, chemical, and compatibility testing on packaging materials Use Fishbowl ERP to manage lab inventory and maintain accurate testing records Support the development and validation of packaging for cosmetic products Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate product-packaging compatibility Accurately document testing procedures, findings, and results Maintain and calibrate lab equipment for accurate performance Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards Qualifications: Degree or certification in Chemistry, Material Science, or a related field Experience in the packaging or cosmetics industry is required Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities Knowledge of quality control processes and industry compliance requirements Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Local applicants only Hours: Full-time, in-office only Salary: $20/hour to $27/hour (depending on experience)
