Job Title: Oracle E-Business Suite DBA
Location: Philadelphia PA (100% Onsite)
Duration: Long-Term Contract
Rate: $50 to $65/ hour on W2 (Based on experience)
Key Responsibilities Develop a comprehensive upgrade plan for Oracle EBS 12.1 to 12.2, including risk mitigation and rollback strategies Perform technical assessments and design pre-upgrade validations Evaluate and address impacts to the Basis2 water billing system Plan and configure Oracle EBS 12.2 including WebLogic, Fusion Middleware, and ADOP (Online Patching) Define database optimizations and support EBS 12.2 compatibility Coordinate with the Basis2 vendor on customizations and retrofitting Establish cloning, backup, and recovery processes for upgrade security Develop and execute troubleshooting plans for post-upgrade performance and configuration issues Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure minimal disruption during the upgrade Conduct training and documentation for internal stakeholders Execute cutover planning and support final production deployment Lead post-upgrade performance tuning, validation, and knowledge transfer Required Qualifications 7 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle E-Business Suite DBA working with both versions 12.1 and 12.2 on a Windows Server environment. 7 years of experience with Oracle Database administration (11g, 12c, 19c), including RMAN, Data Guard, and performance tuning. 5 years of experience performing Oracle EBS upgrades to 12.2, including expertise in ADOP (Online Patching), WebLogic, and Fusion Middleware. 5 years of experience in cloning, patching, backup/recovery, and environment migrations in Oracle EBS. 5 years of experience scripting and automating tasks within Windows environments. 5 years of experience with Oracle Applications DBA utilities such as AutoConfig, ADOP, Rapid Clone, and related tools. 4 years of experience conducting customization impact assessments and performing code remediation in an Oracle EBS environment. 4 years of experience in Oracle security, concurrent processing, and application tier architecture. Preferred Qualifications 4 years of experience with Oracle performance monitoring, tuning, and optimization. 4 years of experience providing technical guidance to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Certification in Oracle DBA or Oracle EBS (preferred but not required).
