Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - Adult Clinic

A leading healthcare provider in Los Angeles, CA is currently seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) specializing in Adult Medicine for their community health team. This position aims to deliver high-quality care and support to adult patients, predominantly covered by Medicaid or Medicare.About the Opportunity: Schedule: Monday to Friday (possible Saturday coverage) Hours: 8am to 5pm (1-hour unpaid lunch break from 12pm to 1pm) Setting: Community Health Center Responsibilities: Checking and recording patients' vital signs and performing phlebotomy Collecting and labeling laboratory specimens in accordance with laws and policies Administering immunizations and medications Assisting doctors with examinations and procedures Maintaining accurate patient records using the electronic health record system Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in Adult Medicine within a Community Health or FQHC setting Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license, issued by the State of California Familiar with direct patient care methods and practices Current California driver's license Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment Commitment to community health and integrity in patient care Desired Skills: 5+ years of experience preferred for temporary-only consideration Bilingual skills in Spanish are highly desirable Proactive problem-solving abilities and a team-oriented attitude
