Program Coordinator
A local organization is seeking a detail-oriented and mission-driven Programs Coordinator to support its Catholic education services team. This full-time role is essential in managing and facilitating federal and state programs for nonpublic schools across the region. The ideal candidate will act as a professional liaison between Catholic schools, local districts, and state agencies while ensuring compliance and equitable access to services. Strong communication, organizational skills, and a passion for supporting Catholic education are key to success in this position.
Responsibilities
Serve as liaison among Catholic schools, public school districts, Intermediate Units, and the PA Department of Education.
Coordinate federal and state programs including Title IA, IIA, III, IVA, Act 89, and IDEA services.
Support Catholic school students, parents, teachers, and administrators by managing government-funded educational services.
Advocate for Catholic schools by interpreting federal and state educational laws.
Oversee program budgets, invoices, data collection, grant reviews, and equitable resources.
Assist school administrators with EDNA, MyPDESuite, school safety, lunch program compliance, and Acts 195-90-35 distribution.
Maintain accurate data for reporting and compliance (e.g., PNPE, NCEA).
Represent Catholic education at relevant professional associations and advocacy groups.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in education, business, communications, or related field required.
Experience with school-based federal/state programs preferred.
Understanding of Catholic and/or nonpublic school environments.
Strong knowledge of federal and state education laws.
Professional, confidential, and detail-oriented work style.
Excellent interpersonal, analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Skilled in Microsoft Office and related technologies.
Willingness to travel and work occasional nights/weekends.

24+/hr based on experience
