SUMMARY
Functions as an independent behavioral health clinician and provides diagnostic evaluation of patients; provides crisis intervention and follow up bridge care for pediatric behavioral health needs. . Coordinates care with and provides consultation to other behavioral health, medical and community providers. Participates in multidisciplinary treatment teams, develops treatment plans and reviews treatment plans regularly.
EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
Master's degree in social work. Current LMHC, LCSW or LICSW. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) strongly preferred. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty
EXPERIENCE
Clinical relevant experience. Preferred with EHR system. Experience with short term, evidenced based interventions for a range of pediatric mental health presentations
SKILLS
Demonstrated ability to assess patient needs, develop and implement a plan of care. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to show high level of sensitivity to patient needs and concerns. Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements.
