Production Assembly Worker
Starting Pay:
$17.00 per hour Location:
Batavia, OH Sign-on/Retention Bonus:
$500.00 Monthly Attendance Incentive:
$100.00 Work Schedule:
Monday to Thursday: 6:00 am - 3:15 pm Friday: 6:00 am - 12:00 pm Off every Friday at noon! Job Summary: Perform hand assembly work on pre-/post-surface mount circuit boards by following detailed assembly instructions. Ensure all components are placed correctly and meet customer requirements. Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Identify and read values, polarity, and orientation of thru-hole components. Identify orientation and polarity of components according to the printed circuit board for thru-hole. Ability to read assembly drawings to identify part numbers for assembly. Basic understanding of the IPC-A-610 Class 2 standards. Utilize basic equipment. Utilize specialized equipment and/or machines as specified by management. Assist in the training of other assemblers. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED. Experience: Preferably some experience in production assembly processes. Client is willing to train the right candidate without prior experience. Physical Requirements:
Work is performed in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment with frequent interactions with others. Requires prolonged sitting, standing, and frequent bending, stooping, and stretching. Manual dexterity is essential for the placement and handling of components. Good eyesight is required for identifying components and ensuring correct placement. Occasional light lifting may be required.
