Business System Analyst

A top Fortune 50 financial institution in Vienna, VA is currently seeking a Business System Analyst. This role supports high-impact business analysis and systems optimization within an enterprise-scale environment.

About the Opportunity: • Hybrid or Remote: Hybrid, 8am-4:30pm EST • Hours: Standard business hours, Monday-Friday • Setting: Financial services, enterprise systems environment • Candidates must be local to Vienna/Tysons Corner or willing to commute

Responsibilities: The Business System Analyst will be responsible for: • Leading system and user acceptance testing: test planning, writing test cases, and test execution • Identifying and analyzing business requirements and recommending appropriate solutions • Determining root causes of problems, and defining scope and scale of issues • Managing multiple priorities independently and within team settings to achieve project goals • Applying change management principles to support process and system transitions • Interpreting, synthesizing, and translating large amounts of information for stakeholders

Qualifications: • Significant experience in problem resolution, including determining root cause, scope, and scale of issues • Experience working in collaborative work teams and on large projects or initiatives with business risk and impact • Significant experience leading system and user acceptance testing, including test planning, writing test cases, and executing tests • Advanced skill in identifying and analyzing business requirements and recommending solutions • Experience managing multiple priorities independently and/or as part of a team to meet objectives • Experience leading, guiding, and coaching professional staff • Advanced research, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Advanced time management skills and proactive delivery of solutions • Advanced skill interpreting and applying relevant data/instructions to guidelines, procedures, practices, and regulations • Skilled at interpreting and synthesizing large volumes of information • Advanced verbal and written communication skills • Advanced proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software • Experience applying change management principles • Experience with Azure DevOps • Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience

Desired Skills (if applicable): • Experience in financial services systems and enterprise implementations • Certifications such as CBAP, PMP, or change management credentials
