Overview
Oshkosh Corporation is currently seeking an Integration Platform Lead to join their Corporate team in a hybrid capacity, with three days on-site weekly at their Global Headquarters in Oshkosh, Wisconsin (preferred) or another designated U.S. site. This is a direct-hire position offering a 10% bonus opportunity, relocation assistance, and a collaborative, innovation-driven work environment focused on enterprise integration and modern API solutions.
Position Overview
As an Integration Platform Lead, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-grade integrations and API management systems across Oshkosh Corporation's global infrastructure. In this hands-on leadership role, you will guide integration strategies, mentor developers, manage platform standards, and serve as an escalation point for advanced support issues, with a strong emphasis on event-driven architecture and Boomi platform expertise.
Responsibilities
Serve as the lead integration expert and escalation point for operational support across Azure and Boomi API Management, Boomi runtimes, and messaging/queueing systems. Guide junior engineers and integration developers while developing and maintaining platform standards. Lead and manage project workstreams focused on integrations and API management initiatives. Design, implement, and operate complex integration and API solutions using modern best practices and DevOps principles. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve API and integration outages, including triage coordination across teams. Coordinate with infrastructure and development stakeholders to support deployment and configuration activities. Adopt and evangelize new technologies in areas such as automation (Terraform, Ansible), containerization, and event streaming. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) frameworks. Provide cross-functional collaboration across IT and business units to align technical solutions with enterprise goals. Support platform lifecycle including updates, security, and performance tuning of integrations infrastructure. Maintain documentation and continuously improve platform health monitoring. Minimum Qualifications
Must be a U.S. Citizen. Five (5) or more years of experience in integrations development or a related area. Strong hands-on experience with at least one Integration Platform (Boomi, MuleSoft, Logic Apps, Talend, Informatica, or TIBCO). Demonstrated experience mentoring developers and developing integration standards and guidelines. Proficiency in REST, SOAP, and associated authentication protocols (OAuth, etc.). Working knowledge of API design, implementation, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with DevOps tools, scripting, automation, and CI/CD pipelines. Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills. Preferred Experience
At least five (5) years of hands-on Boomi development experience. Boomi Runtime Administration and Advanced Integration Development certifications. Azure API Management expertise. Experience with event-driven architecture and message queuing systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Red Hat AMQ). Experience installing and maintaining Boomi or similar integrations infrastructure. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field. Azure Developer Associate or equivalent API-related certification. What We Do:
