Transform the every day with us

We are seeking to hire a network automation engineer who is well versed in cyber security, control devices, IIoT and networking. This individual will be part of the automation team located in the Ft. Worth apparatus facility. As part of the automation team, this individual will be responsible for ensuring the best cyber security and networking practices are adhered to for all automation projects deployed across the sites, protecting our industrial and IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will combine expertise in cybersecurity with strong automation and programming skills.

You will make an impact by:

Align all automation projects with Siemens Information Security policies. Stay aligned with Siemens' Cyber Security and Information Security teams Ensure automation integrators conform to security requirements Stay up to date on current cyber risks to factory automation Stay up to date on automation networking best practices Stay up to date on network protocols Coordinate and implement firmware updates on automation components Deploy Siemens approved monitoring tools

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree required (Engineering, Networking, or Computer Science related) 3+ years of experience in factory networking - Manufacturing, automotive, food and beverage, or biopharmaceuticals. Strong knowledge in network routing, switching, VLANs, etc. Deep understanding of network protocols - TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, HTTP, etc. Strong commitment to network security and knowledge of firewalls, VPN's, and best practices for safeguarding an OT network. Working knowledge of network topologies and the benefits and limitations of each Excellent written skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Visio Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications:

Understanding of industrial network communication protocols Profinet, Modbus, OPC UA, and IO-Link. Skilled with at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, Powershell, nodered, etc) Familiar with networking automation and control systems (e.g. PLC, SCADA, HMI's, MES, Edge Devices, IIOT, etc.) Familiar with industry 4.0 objectives Is a team player, critical thinker, and can collaborate with others to solve challenging problems. You'll Benefit From Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to our employees. The pay range for this position is $67,480 - $141,120 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
