We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Tech to manage the movement, storage, and shipment of our products and packaging supplies. This role involves operating various material handling equipmentincluding flatbed trucks, trailers, forklifts, and pallet jacksfor interplant hauling and warehouse operations. Responsibilities include loading and unloading shipments, organizing inventory, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and ensuring accurate documentation of materials handled. Job Functions Warehouse:
Support all warehouse functions, including receiving, put-away, picking, replenishment, packing, palletizing, and shipping. Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse areas and vehicles. Receiving:
Sort material according to size, type, style, color, or product code. Review and verify information for accuracy against purchase orders or invoices. Unpack and examine incoming shipments and reject damaged items. Marks materials with identifying information. Records amount of material/product shipped/received for accurate inventory. Shipping:
Accurately pick and load materials for shipment based on loader's copy; verify and sign off on shipments. Ensure that shipments are made in an effective manner, complying with shipping instructions and customer specifications, with the required legal documentation in the correct form. Cycle Counting:
Contribute to inventory accuracy through cycle counts and physical inventory processes. Identify products by size, type, style, or product code. Load and unload materials from staging areas, containers, and trucks; relocate inventory as needed to optimize space and ensure FIFO (First-In, First-Out) practices. Operate inventory control tools such as barcode scanners and handheld devices. Qualifications
Qualifications Minimum six (6) months of previous experience operating a forklift required. Previous experience in manufacturing warehouse preferred. High school diploma or GED required. Working knowledge of safety procedures. Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn. Ability to obtain Forklift Certification Strong computer skills (Microsoft products and JDE preferred). Schedule Description Hours:
Monday through Friday, 1st Shift, with potential overtime and holiday work as needed. Physical Demands Must be able to lift and maneuver up to 55 pounds and perform physical activities such as climbing, stooping, bending, and reaching. Work Environment Primarily on the production floor, where you'll work closely with rotating equipment and mechanical parts. Safety is a priority
