Additional Job Information 12 hours per week Rotating days and evenings shifts Overview
Job Summary Under the direct supervision of staff pharmacists, according to standard procedures, assists in dispensing and transporting medications, begins an introduction to non-sterile and/or sterile compounding and maintains appropriate records. Job Responsibilities Maintains quality assurance standards and maintenance of required documentation. Includes maintaining regulatory cleanliness compliance.
Assists in the preparation of medication orders which includes management of workflow, and basic preparation and dispensing, including non-sterile compounding.
Use of automated/electronic systems to manage product preparation, inventory management, patient records, and regulatory compliance.
Maintenance of inventory which includes inventory storage, ordering, rotating, beyond use dating, and cleanliness.
Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.
Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED
No Experience
No Supervisor Experience
State Bd Pharm Registration
Preferred Qualifications Pharmacy Tech Certification
