Clerical Permitting Assistant
Concordia Wireless is a privately held full-service engineering and telecom infrastructure construction firm experiencing rapid growth across the country. We support Fortune 500 clients such as T-Mobile, Verizon, US Cellular, Dish Network, and AT&T. We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable clerical permitting assistant to support our site acquisition team. This role involves assembling permit packages, creating shipping labels, coordinating mailings to various jurisdictions, managing check delivery for fees, handling documents requiring notarization, and additional administrative duties. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable with administrative tasks and occasional errands. This is an entry level role and a great opportunity to learn from the ground up! This role is onsite in our Carol Stream office. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer sponsorship at this time. Pay range: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour. Key Responsibilities: Assemble and package permitting documents accurately for submission to local jurisdictions. Collect and include required checks with permit submissions. Mail completed permit packages to appropriate jurisdictions via USPS or designated courier. Visit the post office to manage incoming and outgoing mail related to permitting. Pick up and deliver legal documents requiring notarization. Ensure all permitting documentation is complete, signed, and in compliance with jurisdictional requirements. Maintain records of all outgoing and incoming packages and notarized documents. Track permit submission status and follow up as necessary. Perform other clerical duties as assigned to support the permitting or administrative team. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or administrative training a plus. Prior clerical or administrative experience preferred. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local errands. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to handle documents with confidentiality. Comfortable working independently and managing multiple tasks. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
