Quality Control Aggregate Field Technician

Aggregate Field Technician Competencies & Skills: Technical & Analytical Skills: Ability to conduct accurate sampling and testing of aggregates using lab and field equipment Proficient in performing basic and advanced mathematical calculations Capable of interpreting state and company quality specifications (ODOT, KYTC, INDOT) Experience with or willingness to learn specialized tools, such as X-RAY machines for industrial lime products Problem Solving & Critical Thinking: Able to identify quality issues and provide solutions in collaboration with QC Manager Comfortable troubleshooting inconsistencies and making data-driven decisions Digital Literacy: Familiar with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) Comfortable generating, managing, and submitting digital quality control reports Communication & Collaboration: Clear and consistent communication with remote plant teams and lab staff Ability to work both independently and within a team structure Adaptable to different work environments and management styles Mobility & Flexibility: Valid driver's license for regular travel across Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana Open to working extended hours, including occasional Saturdays Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working around heavy equipment Preferred Qualifications (Not Required
Training Provided): Level 1, 2, or 3 Aggregate Technician Certification Prior experience in construction materials testing or quality control Work Environment: Combination of lab-based and field-based work Outdoor work in varying weather conditions Interaction with active production facilities and heavy machinery EOE/M/F/Disabled/Veteran/DFSP
