Water Resources Project Manager
We are seeking a dynamic Water Resources Project Manager to lead our hybrid project management and business development role. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in civil, water resources, or environmental engineering and possess a Professional Engineer (PE) license. The position involves working on a variety of projects including low impact designs, residential subdivisions, commercial sites, roadway drainage, master planning, urban stormwater retrofits, stormwater treatment, hydraulic analyses, and flood hazard mitigation. Responsibilities
Identify and develop project and client opportunities to expand the firm's water resources sector through networking events. Create and manage contracts, budgets, and billings. Assist in water resources permitting efforts. Conduct QA/QC reviews on deliverables such as reports, calculations, and engineering plans. Present at conferences and engage in business development activities. Essential Skills
Proven experience in stormwater management design, contracts, client management, project management, and hydrology. Strong understanding of design standards for jurisdictions and agencies in the Portland metro area. Proficiency in software such as XPSWMM/XPSTORM, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, HEC-1, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project. Knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and modeling. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Certified Floodplain Manager certification is a bonus. Experience in Low Impact Development (LID), water quality, and stormwater treatment best management practices. 2D modeling experience. Work Environment
This position is located in Beaverton with a schedule of two days in the office from 8 am to 5 pm, including a one-hour lunch break. A laptop and cell phone stipend are provided. The office features a gym and an outdoor working area, fostering a strong company culture with various outings such as game nights, karaoke, ski nights, and trips to the Coast. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.07 - $72.15/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
