You will be the Manufacturing Robotics Automation Engineer, Staff for the Advanced Manufacturing Technologies team. Our team is tasked with the manufacturing automation and robotics for Missiles and Fire Control. What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Robotics Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for providing manufacturing design guidelines in early product development cycles to ensure integration of automated solutions during manufacturing phases. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting and participating in the design, fabrication, assembly, validation, and deployment of manufacturing tools and electromechanical systems that includes automated components such as robots, conveyors, vision systems and programmable controllers. Hands-on integration of robotics, end of arm tools (EOATs), and existing systems and machines. Working with engineering and manufacturing roles to understand requirements and manufacturing processes for which automation tools can be developed and deployed. Capital planning and execution, vendor/integrator engagement, and project management activities to deploy automated solutions at multiple sites across MFC. Approximately 10% travel may be required to facilitate multi-site automation projects. Why Join Us
