Quality Inspector - PCBA - Level 2

We're hiring for a Quality PCBA Inspector position in So Cal. The schedule is on first shift, 20 - 30 hours, 2-4 days per week on an as-needed basis. If you have a passion for mechanical products and a keen eye for quality, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! Key Responsibilities

Conducting visual PCBA inspections and paperwork verification at our client's supplier(s) Ensuring PCBA products meet quality and specification standards, verifying proper component placement, solder joints, and other assembly specifications Inspecting soldering, component orientation, and component placement for accuracy, as per design and IPC-A-610 standards Confirming shipping documentation is legible and accurate (part number, serial number, etc.) Checking documentation packages to industry standards and classifying defects Interpreting PCBA manufacturing drawings, circuit board layouts, and identifying non-conformances Periodically verifying accuracy and ensuring productivity to meet production schedules Maintaining equipment and keeping the work area organized and compliant with safety regulations Required Qualifications

IPC 610 and J-std-001 certification is required for this role Knowledge of PCBA assembly methods and processes Minimum 3 years of experience as a PCBA Inspector/Assembler in electronic manufacturing or related fields Ability to read PCB assembly schematics, and circuit diagrams, and identify electronic components Proficient in documenting Certificates of Conformance (COC) Strong organizational, communication, and software adaptation skills Preferred Qualifications

Diploma or GED from an accredited high school or technical school; college degree in engineering Knowledge of electronic contract manufacturing and LEAN manufacturing practices 5 years of experience, with 2 years as a PCBA Inspector $30 - $32 an hour .70 cents per mile driven Note: SQA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
