The schedule is on first shift, 20 - 30 hours, 2-4 days per week on an as-needed basis. If you have a passion for mechanical products and a keen eye for quality, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!Key ResponsibilitiesYou will be conducting visual PCBA inspections and paperwork verification at our client's supplier(s)Ensure PCBA products meet quality and specification standards, verifying proper component placement, solder joints, and other assembly specificationsInspect soldering, component orientation, and component placement for accuracy, as per design and IPC-A-610 standardsConfirm shipping documentation is legible and accurate (part number, serial number, etc.)Check documentation packages to industry standards and classify defectsInterpret PCBA manufacturing drawings, circuit board layouts, and identify non-conformancesPeriodically verify accuracy and ensure productivity to meet production schedulesMaintain equipment and keep the work area organized and compliant with safety regulationsRequired QualificationsIPC 610 and J-std-001 certification is required for this roleKnowledge of PCBA assembly methods and processesMinimum 3 years of experience as a PCBA Inspector/Assembler in electronic manufacturing or related fieldsAbility to read PCB assembly schematics, and circuit diagrams, and identify electronic componentsProficient in documenting Certificates of Conformance (COC)Strong organizational, communication, and software adaptation skillsPreferred QualificationsDiploma or GED from an accredited high school or technical school; college degree in engineeringKnowledge of electronic contract manufacturing and LEAN manufacturing practices5 years of experience, with 2 years as a PCBA Inspector$30 - $32 an hour.70 cents per mile driven SQA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
