The Senior Superintendent - Commercial/Multifamily Construction will be responsible for: Develop and maintain the full project schedule using MS Project (from pre-construction to closeout). Lead as the primary superintendent on ground-up commercial projects valued at $15M+. Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff to ensure efficient workflow. Monitor subcontractor progress and enforce compliance with project specifications and documentation. Direct on-site operations including manpower, materials, equipment, and site logistics. Manage quality control, ensuring work meets or exceeds company and industry standards. Enforce project safety policies and create a safe job site environment. Resolve on-site challenges such as weather delays, conflicts, and emergencies quickly and effectively. Collaborate with agencies and project stakeholders for inspections, reporting, and compliance. Track project costs, job costing, quantity reporting, forecasting, and productivity. Lead and mentor field crews including project engineers, foremen, and assistant superintendents. Document progress and generate accurate reports using Microsoft Office Suite. The Senior Superintendent - Commerical/Mutifamily Construction Ideal Candidate: Proven Experience:
At least 10 years of experience managing large-scale, ground-up commercial construction projects valued at $12M or more, with a track record of on-time and on-budget delivery. Technical Expertise:
Proficient in MS Project for scheduling and Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting; strong knowledge of construction means and methods, contracts, drawings, and specifications. Leadership Skills:
Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor field crews, including project engineers, foremen, and assistant superintendents, while fostering a collaborative job site culture. Problem-Solving Ability:
Skilled in resolving on-site challenges, coordinating multiple stakeholders, and maintaining progress in the face of unforeseen obstacles like weather delays or emergencies. Quality & Safety Focused:
