Who You Are: You'll be a Lockheed Martin, Global Supply Chain, Subcontract Management, Senior Staff team member. What You Will Be Doing: This position will be for the technical & non-technical Subject Matter Expert for the Build-to-Print Airframe F-35 Sourcing Team. Serves as the primary consultant and spokesperson, both internally to all levels of Leadership and externally to our Customers. Will serve as the coordinator for both domestic and international supply as well as Lockheed Martin Aeronautics' long-range strategic sourcing plan and objectives to ensure production support. Coordinates with Sourcing, Operations, Design Engineering, the Supply Base and Industry experts to facilitate best practices, solutions and resolutions. Investigates and recommends potential suppliers based on assessments of response to specifications, capacity, costs, inspection of facilities, and historical performance. Facilitates technical trade-offs and standardization that may lead to more economical procurement. Recommends design changes to mitigate production issues. Leads teams of Supplier and internal staff to collaboratively solve problems in Producibility and Affordability. Develops a global sourcing strategy for build-to-print (BTP) F-35 commodities. Defines project scope and facilitates execution, identifying savings opportunities to provide differentiating value for Lockheed Martin. Works with Business Area, Business Unit or Enterprise-wide, cross-functional teams of supply chain, component engineering, quality, finance and business operations professionals to analyze supply base risks & opportunities, support program needs, identify new sources of supply and maximize the horizontal strength for the specific category. Supports bid package preparation, bidders' conferences, development of evaluation criteria, analyzes and evaluation of proposals, and supports procurement negotiations with capacity & capability analysis and coordination with engineering and other technical organizations. Implements policies and metrics to ensure that savings goals are realized and performance requirements are achieved. Possesses an in-depth understanding of category market space and supplier base to establish effective supplier relationships to drive innovative strategies that enhance performance. Engineering databases, MST, P2P, PDM and JSF specific items

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $111,700 - $196,880. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
