If you are driven to create a better, more sustainable future, then this is the right place for you. We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Technician for our Paint department. This position requires an experienced professional with relevant experience in an Automotive Paint Department. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment. **2nd Shift** You Will: Day to day coverage of production line, including rapid response of out-of-control processes. Support implementation of process changes to improve process flow and jobs per hour. Troubleshoot pattern recognition issues such as misalignment and system errors. Troubleshoot and implement process improvements for improved coatings application. Provide inputs for process enhancements and contribute to continuous process improvements. Data collection and analysis for process control and quality assurance. Support program adjustments, based on data analysis. You Bring: Minimum 3 years of experience working within automotive or manufacturing. wedge tools, cutters, and parameter adjustments for optimal bond quality. Hands-on troubleshooting skills for resolving paint defect issues and/or process inefficiencies. Ability to review programs, make adjustments, and provide inputs for process enhancements. Skilled with common workplace software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Detail oriented with strong record-keeping and organizational skills. Availability for occasional off-hours calls. Excellent communication skills and team-oriented attitude. Comfortable with initiating and taking ownership of projects. Preferred: Experience with paint application programs and systems. Experience with evaluating paint defects on Class A surface of automotive vehicles. Experience creating tables and charts for data analysis.
