Experience: Proven experience as a Superintendent with a focus on commercial interior projects is essential, with at least 5 years of relevant experience in the DC metro area. Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of commercial construction processes, materials, and methods, particularly related to interior fit-outs and renovations. Certifications: Relevant certifications such as OSHA 30-Hour, First Aid/CPR, or LEED AP are a plus. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to effectively collaborate with diverse project stakeholders. Leadership: Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of successfully managing construction teams and subcontractors. Technology: Proficiency in construction project management software and tools is preferred. Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and prioritize tasks effectively. Detail-Oriented: Keen attention to detail, ensuring precision in project execution and documentation. Local Knowledge: Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes in the DC metro area.
