CNC Lathe Machinist

for its Phoenix, AZ facility. This is a direct hire opportunity offering long-term stability, competitive pay, and career growth in a high-tech production environment. The company specializes in producing complex engine components across all major aerospace engine platforms. Position Overview:

The CNC Lathe Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating CNC lathes to produce precision aerospace parts. This role ensures that parts meet exacting quality standards and contributes to daily production goals. Works closely with other machinists, leads, and support departments under the direction of the Business Unit Manager. Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to manufacture precision components. Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure adherence to specifications. Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues in collaboration with leads or engineering teams. Provide clear and accurate shift hand-offs to maintain production continuity. Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and manufacturing operation travelers (MOTs). Coordinate with support departments such as Engineering and Quality when necessary. Train and assist other machinists as needed. Required Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of CNC lathe machining experience in a precision manufacturing environment (aerospace preferred). Strong understanding of GD&T and standard inspection techniques. Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical documentation. Basic math skills, including unit conversion and measurement. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Comfortable working independently and in team settings. Must be able to work a consistent second shift schedule. Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Preferred Qualifications:
