Talent Acquisition Coordinator
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for supporting the full recruitment life cycle by sourcing, screening, and coordinating the selection and onboarding of qualified candidates for a variety of agency positions. This role works closely with hiring managers to assess staffing needs, develop sourcing strategies, and ensure an efficient, compliant, and effective hiring process. The Recruiter maintains applicant tracking records, represents the agency at recruitment events, and contributes to continuous improvement efforts through data-driven evaluation of recruitment practices. Duties and responsibilities include developing and implementing proactive recruiting strategies, partnering with hiring managers and HR to understand staffing needs, building and maintaining a candidate pipeline, conducting regular follow-up with managers, networking, analyzing recruitment data, coordinating college recruiting initiatives, representing the agency at job fairs, screening and assessing applicants, assisting in researching new recruiting sources, managing administrative duties, preparing job vacancy announcements, interpreting and applying laws related to human resources, maintaining tracking logs and reports, and performing other similar duties as assigned. The role requires knowledge of recruitment sourcing strategies, talent acquisition tools, state and federal laws, human resource information systems, labor market trends, job analysis, and workforce planning. Skills include effective communication, interviewing techniques, resume screening, relationship-building, resourcefulness, time management, data analysis, and applicant tracking systems. The ability to represent the agency with professionalism, gather and organize data, multitask, adapt to shifting priorities, design and execute talent acquisition strategies, maintain confidentiality, interpret laws, establish working relationships, and work independently while supporting a team environment is also required. Minimum qualifications consist of a bachelor's degree and three years of experience in human resource management, recruitment, or a related field. Preferred qualifications include SHRM, HRCI/PHR, or IPMA-HR professional certifications. Physical demands include sitting and standing for extended periods, operating office equipment, and lifting up to 15 pounds. Special requirements may include occasional travel, reliable transportation, a valid Oklahoma State Driver's License, and the ability to work both on-site and telework.
