Purpose of this job:
This position is located in Houston, TX recruiting for Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee locations.
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for researching, developing, and implementing innovative and effective recruiting strategies to attract a diverse pool of highly qualified and capable talent for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening candidates to managing the interview process and extending offers.
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand the specific needs of each department and role, ensuring that our recruitment efforts align with the company's overall goals and culture. You will also be instrumental in building and maintaining a strong employer brand to position our organization as an employer of choice within the industry.
Duties/Responsibilities: Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process. Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization. Posts job posting and advertisement processes. Collects and analyzes data to maintain current understanding of fair and competitive market salaries, candidate availability, and demand for candidates in particular fields. Consults data and records to identify and select potential candidates for vacant positions. Screens applications and selects qualified candidates, schedule interviews and assist with the interviewing process. Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies. Conducts exit interviews with resigned or terminated employees to collect turnover data on a monthly basis. Holds a weekly recruiting call to ensure all stakeholders needs are met from a recruiting standpoint and the recruiting efforts are aligned. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics. Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles. Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment. Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems, Paycom a plus. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
• At least five years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process is highly preferred.
• Experience with Paycom preferred.
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP a plus.
• SHRM's Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential a plus.
• Bilingual speaking a plus.
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
