Job Summary
The Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) plays a pivotal role in supporting the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in conducting speech and language assessments for students across all grade levels (Transitional Kindergarten through 12th grade). This includes facilitating the implementation of rehabilitative care plans in diverse public educational environments. Furthermore, the SLPA is tasked with delivering specialized instruction in speech and language communication to students identified with special needs. Additionally, the SLPA is responsible for overseeing the application of augmentative devices and systems, ensuring their effective use in supporting student communication needs.
