Job Summary:
The
Phlebotomist I (PSR II)
plays a key role in delivering high-quality patient care by collecting blood samples and preparing them for lab testing. As the face of the company, the PSR I interacts directly with patients, ensuring a professional, compassionate, and efficient experience. This role requires excellent phlebotomy skills, attention to detail, and a strong sense of accountability and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities: Perform daily activities accurately, efficiently, and on time under supervisor direction Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment Collect and process clinical and forensic specimens in accordance with procedures Ensure patient comfort and safety while explaining procedures clearly Maintain accurate records and documentation Uphold confidentiality and compliance standards Represent the organization positively to patients, clients, and the public Job Requirements:
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Deliver high-quality, error-free work in a fast-paced setting Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric patients Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed Reliable transportation (public transit and rideshare not accepted) Punctuality and full-shift availability are strictly required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent -
Required Medical assistant or paramedic training -
Preferred Experience:
3+ years of phlebotomy experience -
Required Customer service experience in a retail or service setting -
Preferred Data entry/keyboard skills -
Required Additional Details:
Pay rate based on verifiable, direct experience
