Administrative Assistant, Part-time (25 Hours a Week)
Reports to: Business Manager and/or Pastor Location: St. Peter the Apostle Parish | Naples, FL Classification: Hourly/Nonexempt Overview This position will be the first point of contact and sets the tone of the parish environment and demonstrates courtesy, friendliness, and professionalism for anyone who visits the Parish; as well as providing support for all functions, including coordinating with all aspects of the Parish. This position will also be responsible for scheduling volunteers for the front desk and other office duties. Job Responsibilities Identify volunteers the needs at the front desk and other office duties. Assist business manager with scheduling duties of office staff. Act as the bridge between the staff and ministries. Welcomes and directs visitors and parishioners. Answers, screens when necessary, and transfers phone calls accurately and courteously. Schedule volunteers for office and various ministries in the parish. Assists parishioners with inquiries, distributing registration forms and other documents. Assist staff in coordinating parish functions and other related duties as assigned by the Business Manager. Recruit and train volunteers for parish soft. Maintain and support Parish soft including communications to parishioner. Support the planning and execution of parish events by coordinating office-related logistics with events coordinator, business manager and administrative assistant to the pastor. Other job duties as assigned.
