Parish Administrative Assistant, Full Time (35 Hrs./Wk.)
Reports to: Business Manager and/or Pastor Location: St. Peter & Paul the Apostle Parish, Bradenton FL Classification: Hourly/Non-exempt Overview
St. Peter & Paul the Apostle Parish is seeking a full-time Parish Administrative Assistant. This position is the first point of contact and sets the tone of the Parish environment and demonstrates courtesy, friendliness, and professionalism for anyone who visits the Parish; as well as providing support for all office functions, including coordinating with all aspects of the Parish. Job Responsibilities
Greet all visitors to the Parish Office. Answer, screen, and route incoming calls to the pastor/office promptly, accurately, and courteously. Provide answers to caller questions and assistance when appropriate. Maintains parish calendar, event calendars and Pastor's calendar. Review, sort and distribute all mail accordingly. Processes deposits of funds received at the parish office, completing required back up for Business Manager. Maintains sacramental records, both hardbound and digital as well as Mass Intention book Orders office supplies for all staff. Administrative duties for the Pastor
printing and distributing Mass schedule, typing weekend announcements and petitions, typing letters, memos, etc. Schedule and coordinate wedding and funeral Masses and all details related Work with Pastor/Business Manager on projects and communications if needed Other duties as assigned by Business Manager and/or Pastor.
