The purpose of this Food and Beverage Supervisor is to provide first-level supervision and operational support to the Starbucks F&B location within Hersheypark. Job Duties: Supervise and facilitate F&B operations for Starbucks. Monitor Baristas within the location to ensure adherence to all Starbucks brand standards and regulations. Provide on-the-spot training, coaching, leadership, and instruction to Starbucks Baristas, including, food safety, register use, and guest service. Place team members at appropriate positions and ensure that employees have the proper breaks, supplies, and other operational items needed throughout their shifts. Ensure strict adherence to Child Labor Laws and report any potential violations to their direct Supervisors. Ensure the Starbucks operation opens and closes at the proper times established by business needs along with guidance from the supervisory/management team. Monitor stand appearance and operations (inside and outside) including the dining room and outside patio to ensure cleanliness and organization. Monitor food preparation and beverage recipes, including adherence to food safety standards and ensuring quality products in line with federal, state, and company laws and policies. Monitor daily financial results and report issues or concerns to management. Maintain appropriate food preparation levels based on projected business and weather on a daily basis. Maintain equipment properly and report problems with equipment to the appropriate supervisor and/or maintenance staff during operations so that problems are corrected. Provide first-line support to guests with issues or concerns. Escalate guest concerns as needed. Assist managers with End of Period Accounting procedures. Assist in seasonal event set-ups and other themed projects as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: 18 years of age or older. Minimum of 2 years of related experience. Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in the Food & Beverage industry. Industry Experience - Amusement Park, Food & Beverage. Completion of high school or GED. Post-Employment - ServSafe Allergen, ServSafe Manager, RAMP, and Barista Certifications. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Proven guest relations, problem-solving, task management skills, and organizational skills. Knowledge of Child Labor Law regulations. Must display a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and professional image in compliance with Hershey Entertainment & Resorts guidelines. Job Demands: Reaching Forward Frequent (34-66%). Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers (Repetitive motion). The position is subject to noise. There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above ambient noise level. The position is subject to extreme cold. Temperatures typically below 32 for periods of more than one hour. Consideration should be given to the effect of other environmental conditions, such as wind and humidity.
