Michael Page is working with a rapidly expanding design-build firm with a nationwide footprint who is looking for a Project Manager to join its growing Mission Critical team in Northern Virginia. Job Description
Project Manager - Mission Critical Projects - Ashburn,VA
Overseeing all phases of building and construction of mission critical projects Managing project schedules, budgets, and resources Coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams Leading project planning, execution, and closeout activities Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards Monitoring progress and resolving issues as they arise Communicating updates to stakeholders and leadership Supporting preconstruction efforts including estimating and procurement Reviewing drawings, specifications, and technical documents Collaborating with design and engineering teams Tracking project performance and implementing improvements Maintaining documentation and reporting project metrics Driving accountability across all project partners Facilitating project meetings and decision-making processes Adapting to changing priorities and technical requirements MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field 5+ years of experience in mission critical construction Strong understanding of MEP systems and critical infrastructure requirements Strong leadership and team coordination skills Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Experience with project management software and scheduling tools (e.g., Procore, P6, MS Project) Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Knowledge of permitting processes, code compliance, and safety regulations A track record of effective problem-solving in fast-paced environments Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Experience supporting preconstruction, procurement, and estimating activities The ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and drive accountability A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset What's on Offer
