A nationally respected design-build firm with Midwest roots is expanding its Mission Critical team in Northern Virginia and is hiring a Superintendent to support that growth. This role offers the chance to lead high-profile data center projects for major tech clients like Google, Microsoft, and Facebook. With multiple active projects and a newly awarded contract in NoVA, this hire is driven purely by growth-and the firm has plans to open a local satellite office soon. Leading day-to-day onsite construction activities for projects valued between $5M-$40M+ Overseeing multiple active job sites when needed Managing and mentoring all field teams, subcontractors, and trade partners Ensuring timely, on-budget, and spec-compliant project execution Promoting a strong culture of safety and ensuring full site compliance Collaborating closely with Project Managers and regional leadership Maintaining project schedules and documentation using MS Project MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. Minimum of 5 years' experience in field supervision within construction High-level Assistant Superintendents are encouraged to apply Solid experience working with General Contractors, preferably mid-sized firms Candidates from larger firms who thrive in smaller team environments are welcome Strong preference for Mission Critical project experience; MEP-heavy GC backgrounds also considered (no MEP specialty contractors) Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and MS Project scheduling software Demonstrated leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities Based locally in the Northern Virginia area, with occasional travel possible but focused on long-term local work What's on Offer
