Position Overview:
We're looking for an experienced Estimator/Project Manager to join our growing waterproofing division and help manage projects from bid to completion. This dual role is responsible for estimating caulking and waterproofing projects, developing scopes of work, pricing proposals, and managing jobs through execution. You'll work closely with clients, vendors, field crews, and our internal operations team to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Perform site visits and assessments to gather job-specific information Estimate labor, materials, and equipment for caulking and waterproofing projects Prepare detailed proposals and scopes of work Coordinate project scheduling and crew assignments Manage field execution and ensure quality control and safety compliance Communicate directly with property managers, GCs, engineers, and owners Track project progress, change orders, and billing milestones Build and maintain client relationships and identify future opportunities Qualifications:
Must have - 3+ years of experience in estimating or managing caulking, waterproofing, or exterior restoration projects Strong understanding of commercial building envelopes and sealant systems Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and bid documents Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software (e.g. Bluebeam, Procore, or similar) Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally to job sites Rope access knowledge a plus, but not required Benefits:

Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
