Technical Sales Manager Aerospace Defense
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to maximize revenue growth and market penetration. Manage a rolodex of existing / key accounts for a long standing and established company. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within new and existing accounts, leveraging industry knowledge and market insights. Stay up to date within the Aerospace & Defense industry, keeping pace with market trends. Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs and providing customized solutions. Lead and motivate a sales team to achieve individual and collective sales targets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of sales initiatives and customer satisfaction. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to inform strategic decision-making. Manage and log all sales activity with CRM system. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. A minimum of 3-7 years of sales experience within Aerospace & Defense, with a proven track record of success. Previous experience min 5-10+ year in capital equipment and engineered products is required. Experience in aerospace, defense, lighting or other relevant technical sales field preferred. Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels. Strategic thinker with the ability to lead and accomplish sales initiatives. Willingness to travel domestically as needed. Offer: Competitive base salary - $115,000 - 125,000 + 20% annual bonus 4 days per week in Stamford CT office Short days on Fridays Great benefits
