Visiting Faculty - Learning Assistance

Miami University Regionals invites applications for a visiting faculty to teach student support courses managed by the Tutoring and Learning Center. These include first-year experience and student success skills courses designed to help students transition into and thrive in college. This is a part-time, per-course position beginning in Fall, 2025. Primary responsibilities include teaching, guiding, and assessing Regionals students in developmental and college-readiness coursework. Courses may be delivered in person or online, depending on institutional need. While some online instruction may be possible, the ability to teach in-person at the Miami Regionals Hamilton campus is strongly preferred. All instructors, regardless of modality, are required to attend a minimum of two in-person team meetings per semester at the Hamilton campus. This role offers a unique opportunity for professionals committed to open-access education and serving a diverse, community-connected student population. Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree in one of the following or a closely related field: English, English Education, Mathematics, Higher Education Administration, Social Work, Nursing, or College Student Personnel Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at any level (K16) Required application documents: cover letter and resume/CV.
