Family Practice - Without OB Physician

Job Type: 1099 Locum Tenens Contract
Date Range: September 1st, 2025 - February 27th, 2026
Compensation: Hourly Rate + Holiday Rate
Responsibilities:

• Patient Volume, Clinic: Averages 6-7 per day
• Patient Volume, ER: Averages 3-7 per week
• Staffing Mix: 2 Physicians, 5 APPs, 4 PRN Providers
  Schedule: Clinic is Mon - Fri, with one hour break each day. Evening call one day per week.

Hospital Rounds:
Doctors round on inpatients each morning between 8:00 9:00 AM.

• • We typically have 3 5 inpatients.
  • Doctors round on their own patients or patients admitted while they were on call.
  • If other physicians are working, they usually only round on 1 2 patients.
  • If they re the only doctor that day (Typically on Friday, Saturday, Sunday), they round on all 3 5 patients each morning.

Clinic Patient Hours:

• • Monday Thursday: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
  • Friday: 9:00 AM 4:00 PM

Call Structure:

• • The APP takes first call, with the physician as backup.
  • A typical weekly schedule includes 4 clinic days, with one 24-hour backup call day (you still see clinic patients that day). With Every 4th week being a 5-day clinic week plus weekend call.
  • Every 4th week, the doctor works in clinic from Monday through the following Thursday along with the call shifts listed below.
    • Call shifts during that week include: Monday 7a-7a, Friday 7a through 7a Monday and Wednesday 7a-7a.
  • The on-call doctor covers all hospital rounding over the weekend (3 5 patients).

Compensation Details:

• $180.00 hourly rate
• $270.00 holiday hourly rate (limited holidays apply)
• Active Physician license with the State of Nebraska (or willingness to obtain)
• Active ATLS, BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Active DEA registration

Position Requirements:

• Minimum 2-years of solo full-spectrum emergency experience
• Direct experience with medivac and patient care stabilization including intubations, chest tubes, and complicated airways; must have strong suturing skills
