We are seeking a Family Practice Physician for an 80-day locum tenens assignment in California, starting Sep 8, 2025. This role requires handling a full scope of family medicine duties on a Monday to Friday schedule, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The ideal candidate will manage a variety of cases including pediatric and adult care, women's health, and emergency coverages.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide comprehensive care across all ages, managing conditions such as colds, coughs, flu, hypertension, and diabetes.
  • Conduct womens health checks, including IUD placements, as well as pre-natal and post-natal care.
  • Manage scheduled patient appointments with 20-minute blocks for regular visits and 40-minute blocks for new patients.
  • Work effectively with Nextgen EMR system to document and manage patient information.

Additional Information
  • Board Certification in Family Medicine required; Board Eligible candidates may also be considered.
  • Preference for candidates with OB experience and familiarity with rural or Indian health service settings.
  • No new graduates; experience in full-scope family medicine is mandatory.
