 Position: Project Director
Location: Honolulu, HI (Onsite)
Pay: $38.46/hour
Experience: 5 to 10 years of construction project management experience (commercial/hospitality focus).
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
Type: Full-time; Contract
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Employers Options is seeking a Project Director to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:

  • Lead planning, execution, and completion of large-scale commercial and hospitality projects.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and staffing across multiple job sites.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and bid packages for high-value projects.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate project execution with clients, engineers, architects, and subcontractors.
  • Serve as main client contact throughout the lifecycle of each project.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Supervise and mentor project staff to ensure high performance.
  • Address and mitigate project risks and resolve conflicts promptly.
  • Participate in and oversee project reporting, performance evaluations, and client communication.
Position Requirements:
  • Proficiency in construction estimating and job bidding.
  • Familiarity with job management software and project tracking tools.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • PMP certification and/or LEED accreditation is a plus.
